Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) are a heterogeneous group of lymphomas that are characterized (as opposed to Hodgkin lymphoma [HL]) by a lack of Reed-Sternberg cell involvement. They account for some 90% of lymphoma cases, overall, and generally carry a poorer prognosis than HL.
